Member benefit protection
If your balance falls below $1,000, don't panic.
We won't deduct administration fees in excess of the investment returns that would otherwise be credited to your account. This is an industry-wide practice required by regulation.
Deductions of government taxes and insurance premiums are not included in member benefit protection - these will continue to be deducted from your account balance.
In periods of low investment returns, a nominal charge of up to $10 per annum may continue to be deducted from accounts that are subject to member benefit protection.
