A recent Investment Markets Update from the Fund Trustee is now available from our website. The update provides commentary from the Fund Trustee on the current investment environment as well as discussion on the Federal Government's recent announcement to guarantee bank deposits.

The Association of Super Funds of Australia (ASFA) has urged super members to keep better track of their super.

AFSA suggests the best way to reduce lost super is for employers and fund members to ensure correct contact information and Tax File Numbers (TFN) are provided when opening a new super account or transferring funds.

To update your employee contact details, you can:

• Phone on 1300 304 044
• Email, info@recruitmentsuper.com.au
• Visit Employer Online Services, or
• Submit updated information with your contribution return.

Members with lost super can download a SuperMatch Authorisation Form from our website, or visit the ATO website. Alternatively, they can us on 1300 651 331 or email memberservices@recruitmentsuper.com.au for assistance.

The Government's Standard Choice Form (NAT 13080), which sets out employee options for choosing a superannuation fund, has recently been updated. Changes to the form are minor, and include more detailed introductory information and re-ordering of changes. The updated version is now available from their website, www.ato.gov.au or by calling them on 13 10 20. Note, the previous version is still valid.
